Advanced Technology Features Include: Forged steel crank; Remanufactured Navistar 506 Block with splayed bearing caps; AED's new piston design, with modern ring package; Turbonetics ceramic bearing turbocharger with stand and manifolds; Remanufactured Heads with exhaust and intake manifolds; Remanufactured and retimed injection pump. Directly interchangeable with current HMMWV engine without any chassis modifications. May need better transmission to handle the increase torque and HP.
